1. Who we are
Logivault LLC, doing business as Logi-Vault ("Logi-Vault", "we", "us"), operates a third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse in Greenville, South Carolina, provides ecommerce fulfillment, Amazon FBA prep, kitting and supply chain services, and manages Amazon seller accounts for brands. This policy applies to thelogivault.com and its Russian and Ukrainian versions, our client portal, and the services we provide.
When we store or ship products for a client, the client decides what happens to its customers' information and we process that information on the client's behalf, under our agreement with the client. In that case the client's own privacy notice also applies.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Quote and contact requests: name, company or brand, email, phone or messenger handle, preferred language, sales channels, product types, order volumes and anything you write in the form or an email.
- Client account information: business details, billing contacts, user names and email addresses for portal users, and the instructions you give us.
- Inventory and order information: SKUs, quantities, lot numbers and expiration dates, purchase orders, and, for orders we ship, the recipient's name, shipping address, phone number and order contents.
Information we receive from connected services
- Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API): if a seller authorizes us, the data described in section 4.
- Sales channels and carriers: order and tracking data from stores and marketplaces you connect (for example Shopify or Walmart) and from shipping carriers.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time. We use these to keep the site secure and working.
- Cookies: our public website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. See the Cookie Policy.
3. How we use information
- To answer requests, prepare quotes and onboard clients.
- To provide our services: receiving, storing, preparing, kitting and shipping inventory, processing returns, and managing Amazon accounts as the client instructs.
- To send service messages such as shipment confirmations, stock alerts, invoices and policy updates.
- To keep our systems secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix problems.
- To meet legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use our clients' customer data to market to those customers.
4. Amazon Selling Partner data
Sellers can authorize Logi-Vault to access their Amazon Seller Central account through Amazon's Selling Partner API. Authorization happens through Amazon's own consent screen; we never ask for a seller's Amazon password. See Amazon Seller Integration for how the connection works.
- What we access: only the data needed for the services the seller has engaged us for, such as orders, inventory, inbound shipments, listings, pricing, fees and business reports. Amazon buyer information (names, shipping addresses, phone numbers) is accessed only when we ship Merchant Fulfilled (FBM) orders for the seller.
- How we use it: solely to provide services to that seller: fulfilling and tracking orders, preparing and shipping FBA inventory, keeping inventory in sync, and planning, reporting and account management. We do not use Amazon data for any other purpose, and we do not combine one seller's data with another's.
- Sharing: we do not sell or disclose Amazon data to third parties except shipping carriers to deliver an order, or where required by law.
- Retention: Amazon buyer personal information is deleted within 30 days after the order is delivered, unless a longer period is required by law (for example tax records), in which case it is kept only for that purpose and protected as described in section 7.
- Compliance: we handle Amazon data in line with Amazon's Data Protection Policy and Acceptable Use Policy. See Data Protection & Security.
5. How we share information
- Shipping carriers (for example USPS, UPS, FedEx and freight carriers) receive the recipient details needed to deliver a shipment.
- Marketplaces and sales channels receive tracking and inventory updates you have asked us to send.
- Service providers that host our systems, store encrypted backups or provide email and communication tools, under contracts that limit their use of the data.
- Professional advisers and authorities where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, sale or reorganization of our business, subject to this policy.
6. How long we keep information
| Information | Retention |
|---|---|
| Quote and contact requests that do not become clients | Up to 24 months, then deleted |
| Client business records, invoices and contracts | For the relationship and up to 7 years after, for tax and legal purposes |
| Recipient details on orders we ship (including Amazon buyer information) | Deleted within 30 days after delivery, unless the law requires longer |
| Non-personal inventory, sales and business reports | For the relationship, or as the client instructs |
| Server and security logs | Up to 90 days, longer only when investigating an incident |
7. How we protect information
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encryption of stored personal information and backups, access limited to staff who need it, multi-factor authentication for administrative access, logging and monitoring, and a documented incident response plan. Details are on our Data Protection & Security page. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected clients and authorities of a breach as required by law.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, get a copy, correct it, delete it, object to or restrict certain uses, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws, and of the EU and UK, have rights under those laws.
To make a request, email ops@thelogivault.com with "Privacy request" in the subject. We will verify your request and reply within 30 days (45 days where US state law allows). If your information was given to us by one of our clients (for example as a recipient of an order we shipped), we may forward your request to that client.
Sellers can revoke Logi-Vault's access to their Amazon account at any time in Seller Central under Apps and Services > Manage Your Apps.
9. International visitors
We are based in the United States and our systems are located there. If you contact us from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: taking steps at your request before entering a contract (quotes), performance of a contract (services), our legitimate interests (security, improving services) and legal obligations.
10. Children
Our website and services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed. We will notify clients of material changes by email.
